Job Description:

The Cath Lab Technologist is responsible for assisting in procedures within the Cath Lab, working with other techs and RNs, sometimes in lead or supporting roles as necessary for the case and patient needs. Call duties and first-to-float responsibilities are required as per scheduling needs.
Responsibilities:
Perform procedures with a team of techs, operating as scrub or monitoring hemodynamics.
Coordinate with RNs for procedures involving conscious sedation.
Participate in room assignments and equipment setup as directed by the Lead Tech.
Respond to inpatient and emergent call requirements as scheduled.
Requirements:
Current valid certifications: ARRT, Fluoroscopy, BLS.
Current cath lab experience required.
Proficiency in cardiac drips, such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors, and familiarity with balloon pumps.
Comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, and airway management.

Experience with STEMI receiving, cardiac/coronary procedures, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro intervention.
