Facility/Unit: Tele 4SW NSM (Telemetry)
Care Setting: Acute Care
Shift: Night Shift (3x12s)
Schedule: Every Other Weekend (EOW) required. First to float.
Contract: 16 weeks
Start Date: 02/23/2026
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

REQUIREMENTS

• License: Active, unencumbered California RN License
• Experience: Minimum 3 years. No first-time travelers.
• Recent Role: Must have served as a Charge RN in most recent assignment.
• Certifications:
  • BLS: American Heart Association (AHA)
  • ACLS: AHA
  • NIHSS: AHA or APEX
• Charting: Cerner experience required.

UNIT & ROLE NOTES

• This is a Nurse Shift Manager position for a Telemetry unit.
• Manager interviews will be conducted.
• The role is a dynamic blend of charge nurse duties, clinical mentorship, and shift management responsibilities.
• Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Providing on-shift clinical and operational leadership.
  • Ensuring safe, high-quality patient care delivery.
  • Rounding on patients to address service/safety concerns.
  • Serving as a clinical resource and resolving interpersonal issues.
  • Supporting staff and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Taking a charge nurse or potentially a patient assignment based on census and staffing needs.
