Travel Physical Therapist (PT) | Bakersfield, CA (13-Week Contract)

We’re seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join a rehab team in Bakersfield, California.

This role offers a consistent 5x8 schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patient care while enjoying the heart of Central California.

Location: Bakersfield, CA

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: 5x8s (40 hours/week guaranteed)

Setting: Outpatient / Rehab (varies by facility need)

Current BLS certification

Minimum 1 year of recent PT experience (outpatient or rehab preferred)

Strong background in ortho, neuro, and functional rehab

Perform patient evaluations and design individualized therapy plans

Provide hands-on treatment to restore function, mobility, and independence

Reassess and adjust treatments based on progress

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes

Educate patients and families on exercises and long-term care strategies

Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility and state standards
