Shift: Days – 5x8s
Contract Length: 13 or 26 weeks (26 weeks preferred)
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a passionate and experienced School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to join the team in Bakersfield, CA. This role focuses on supporting students’ functional and academic success through therapeutic interventions, collaboration, and individualized care plans.

• Evaluate students’ functional status and develop individualized treatment goals
• Plan and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions within school settings
• Coordinate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Provide education and training to caregivers, families, and staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress, and outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and care conferences as required

• Previous school-based therapy experience required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Experience working with students with autism and developmental disabilities
• Background in developing individualized care and early intervention strategies
