Arise Care Staff is hiring a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to work for our client healthcare facility in Bakersfield, CA for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care and outpatient settings, providing comprehensive physical therapy services to a diverse patient population. This role requires a commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Evaluate and assess patients’ physical therapy needs through clinical examination and diagnostic tests.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
• Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapies.
• Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment options, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.

• Education:
  
  Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care and outpatient settings preferred.
• Licensure:
  Current California Physical Therapist License. (Pending licenses accepted.)
• Certifications:
  
  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Skills:
  
  Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills; excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
