Join our Airports team within Atkins
Réalis’ Engineering Services group and contribute to impactful airport and heliport infrastructure projects across Canada and beyond. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to planning, designing, and delivering innovative engineering solutions that shape the future of aviation infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from runway extensions to major rehabilitation and master planning initiatives.
We are looking for an Intermediate or Senior Civil Engineering Technologist to join our team in Edmonton.
Your role- Design road geometries using Open Roads and/or Civil 3D and prepare detailed engineering plans.
- Perform quantity calculations and develop project cost estimates.
- Ensure design plans comply with applicable standards, codes, and regulations.
- Participate in construction site supervision for infrastructure projects.
- Support multidisciplinary coordination to deliver high‑quality engineering deliverables.
- Contribute technical expertise to airport and roadway design projects.
- Hold a diploma as a technologist in civil engineering or equivalent.
- Aptitude for working on road and/or airport infrastructure with at least 5 years of experience.
- Proficiency in 3D design tools such as Open Roads and/or Civil 3D, and AutoCAD; knowledge of AviPLAN is an asset.
- Ability to interpret TP‑312 standards, ICAO Annex 14, and other relevant airport regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written).
