Willdan Performance Engineering invites qualified candidates to apply for the Senior Construction Project Manager position, which focuses on overseeing several concurrent mid‑size energy retrofit construction projects in Southern California while ensuring schedule, cost, quality, and client satisfaction.

$170,000 – $180,000 per year

• Provide valuable cost and constructability input during the design phase.
• Coordinate the bid process, including the pre‑bid walkthrough.
• Administer subcontract agreements and manage subcontractor activities.
• Coordinate and review submittals.
• Schedule, supervise, and coordinate subcontractor activities; lead construction meetings.
• Update overall schedules, maintain detailed three‑week schedules, and monitor progress, ensuring the schedule is implemented, closely monitored, updated as necessary, and meets the contract completion date.
• Ensure construction specifications are adhered to; act as liaison between subcontract Guy and engineers.
• Develop and enforce quality control procedures and safety practices.
• Mentor and provide assignments to project staff.
• Manage project cost control and forecasting systems; provide monthly cost versus budget reports.
• Maintain construction‑management software per company guidelines.
• Travel by company car throughout Southern California as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 4‑6 years of professional experience in field operations and construction means and methods.
• PMP certification or intent to pursue it (preferred).
• Knowledge of the construction process; ಪುಪ familiar with ESCO design and commissioning.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in commercial and institutional facilities (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to identify, correct, and avoid schedule, budget, or quality issues, making balanced decisions to prevent disruptions.
• Innovative management techniques to maximize employee and subcontractor performance.
• Creative problem‑solving and independent judgment.
• Thorough understanding of company and industry practices, policies, and standards.
• Ability to develop and maintain client relationships, engaging clients effectively during construction.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to lift 50 lbs and climb a ladder.
