Join SOLV Energy as an Assistant Electrical Superintendent on a full‑time jobsite in Yerington, NV. The role requires on‑site leadership, safety compliance, and coordination across utility‑scale solar projects.

The Assistant Electrical Superintendent supervises electrical construction activities, enforces safety procedures, collaborates with project teams, and ensures timely completion of jobs.

• Perform all Assistant Superintendent duties and lead field teams.
• Enforce safety policies, lead safety training, and maintain high safety standards.
• Assist the Electrical Superintendent with constructability, schedules, and project documentation.
• Review contracts, drawings, schedules, submittals, and support project schedule (CPM) compliance.
• Recruit, train, and coordinate field construction teams, including subcontractors.
• Maintain quality control standards and ensure compliance with project specs.
• Order and track materials, tools, equipment to avoid delays.
• Prepare accurate daily reports, time sheets, work orders, and invoice approvals.
• Attend pre‑job, progress, and coordination meetings.
• Assist with start‑up testing, commissioning, turnover, and punch list processing.
• Provide day‑to‑day leadership, supervise subcontractors, resolve issues proactively.
• Mentor, coach, evaluate subordinates, and identify future field leaders.
• Assist with hiring and disciplinary decisions in coordination with leadership.
• Verify work meets quality, safety, and workmanship standards.
• Support Solv Energy’s culture of safety, teamwork, and communication.
• Assist site teams with RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of commissioning and testing procedures related to solar industry.
• Act as liaison with Owners, subcontractors, and on‑site teams.
• Collaborate with other superintendents and field leaders across all levels.
• Lead and coordinate all electrical subcontractors, testing agencies, and commissioning teams.
• Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and maintain high electrical safety standards.
• Collaborate with mechanical and civil teams to ensure project success.
• Travel as required to support project sites; travel funds fully expensed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Preferred 5 years’ field construction supervisory experience.
• Preferred 3 years’ utility‑scale solar experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws, NFPA 70E, and NEC standards.
• Knowledge of job scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control.
• Preferred 2 years’ utility‑scale solar commissioning experience.
• Problem‑solving skills with strong sense of urgency.
• Extensive knowledge of PV solar systems and DC cable systems.
• Proficiency in underground electrical installations, cable pulling through conduits and bores, and direct‑buried AC/DC feeder installations.
• Experience with inverter skid underground installation, setting, terminations, and testing.
• Strong knowledge of electrical testing and commissioning.
• Valid driver’s license, willing to travel.

Salary range: $90,000.00 - $ per year.
