Retired Teacher Tutor (Certificated)

Multiple positions at all sites.

Hours/days to be determined by tutor and coordinated with site principal.

Under the direction of the principal, the tutor will be assigned to a grade level. The time spent in each classroom will be proportional to the number of identified children in each room.

Certification (Certificated Substitute Permit (30 Day Sub Permit or Prospective Sub Permit or Teaching Credential issued by CTC)

• Fingerprint Clearance
• Completed Certificates from Get Safety Trained
• TB Screening Result
• Copy of Driver's License
• Copy of Social Security Card

Substitute teachers must contact KCSOS Credentialing Department at  to begin the process of being placed on the county-wide substitute list. This is a prerequisite to applying with Standard School District as a substitute teacher. Once on the County list, prospective substitutes will need to stop by our district office and pick up and complete a physical substitute packet: 1200 N. Chester Ave.
