Overview
Kern Community College District seeks part-time, hourly adjunct instructors in the Natural Science department. This is a temporary adjunct position with salary listed at $66.00–$67.00 per hour (depending on assignment and LHE formula). Minimum Qualifications- Masters in any biological science
- OR Bachelor's in any biological science AND Master's in biochemistry, biophysics, or marine science
- OR the equivalent. Candidates with equivalent qualifications may submit an APPLICATION FOR EQUIVALENCY form with supporting documents.
- A demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse backgrounds of community college students
- Degrees and credits from accredited institutions (

- Ability to work effectively with colleagues to promote innovation, teaching, learning and service to a diverse student population
