Basic Function
:
This is an adjunct pool used to staff assignments at the Bakersfield Community College Main Campus.
Minimum Qualifications
:
- Master's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- OR Bachelor’s in either of the above AND Master’s in Mathematics, Cybernetics, Business Administration, Accounting or Engineering
- OR Bachelor’s in Engineering AND Master’s in Cybernetics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business Administration
- OR Bachelor’s in Mathematics AND Master’s in Cybernetics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business Administration
- OR Bachelor’s degree in any of the above AND a Master’s degree in Information Science, Computer Information Systems, or Information Systems
- OR the equivalent qualifications

Minimum Qualifications for Faculty and Administration in California Community Colleges
- A demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.

Degrees and credits must be from accredited institutions (Title V Section 53406). Any degree from a country other than the United States, including Canada and Great Britain, must be evaluated by an evaluation service.
