Basic Function
:
This is an adjunct pool used to staff assignments at the Bakersfield Community College Main Campus.

Minimum Qualifications
:

• Master's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• OR Bachelor’s in either of the above AND Master’s in Mathematics, Cybernetics, Business Administration, Accounting or Engineering
• OR Bachelor’s in Engineering AND Master’s in Cybernetics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business Administration
• OR Bachelor’s in Mathematics AND Master’s in Cybernetics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business Administration
• OR Bachelor’s degree in any of the above AND a Master’s degree in Information Science, Computer Information Systems, or Information Systems
• OR the equivalent qualifications

Certain combinations of education, experience, and other accomplishments in the field may be judged as equal to the stated minimum qualifications for these positions. Minimum Qualifications for Faculty and Administration in California Community Colleges

• A demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.

Degrees and credits must be from accredited institutions (Title V Section 53406). Any degree from a country other than the United States, including Canada and Great Britain, must be evaluated by an evaluation service.
