Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s in physics, astronomy or astrophysics
• or Bachelor's in physics or astronomy AND Master’s in engineering, mathematics, meteorology or geophysics
• or equivalent qualifications (submit an Application for Equivalency with supporting documents)
• Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students
• Degrees and credits must be from accredited institutions (Title V Section 53406). Foreign degrees must be evaluated by an approved service.
• Screening will be conducted by a screening committee; meeting minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview.
