Responsibilities of the Accounting Coordinator

• Serve as a lead resource for Accounting Technicians, helping coordinate and prioritize accounting activities.
• Assist with the maintenance and preparation of financial records, reports, and transactions.
• Prepare and analyze financial, statistical, and audit support reports.
• Monitor and review budgets and expenditures for compliance with policies and regulations.
• Coordinate with district, county, state, and federal agencies regarding financial reporting and funded programs.
• Help implement and maintain accounting procedures, regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Track revenue and oversee accounts receivable billing and collections.
• Provide technical support, training, and backup for accounting staff and operations.

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Coordinator

• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports
• MIP Software Experience
