Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Bakersfield, CA
Pay: $25–$30 per hour DOE

A well-established and growing agriculture organization in Kern County is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to take full ownership of the AP function during an exciting phase of company growth and operational improvement.

This is more than just invoice entry. This role offers visibility, trust, and the opportunity to help refine processes while being the go-to person for payables.

• Full-cycle Accounts Payable processing

• Vendor communication and relationship management

• Invoice coding, matching, and approvals

• Check runs, ACH payments, and payment tracking

• AP reconciliations and support with month-end close

• Identifying opportunities to improve AP workflows and controls

• Hands-on Accounts Payable experience (full-cycle strongly preferred)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to manage your workload independently

• Comfort working in an evolving, growing environment

• Experience in agriculture or related industries is a plus
