Staff Accountant
Bakersfield, CA
We’re partnering with a well-established professional services firm to hire a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting and tax functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on role and is looking to develop broad accounting skills.

What You’ll Do:
- Full-cycle bookkeeping (AP, AR, bank and credit card reconciliations)
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements
- Assist with tax preparation support, schedules, and documentation
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and journal entries
- Support month-end and year-end close
- Client account maintenance and financial clean-up as needed
What They’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and reconciliations
