Job Description:

The Accounting Manager is ultimately responsible for overseeing daily financial operations and leading the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting that follows Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

How you will make your greatest contribution:

You will demonstrate trustworthiness, integrity and professionalism in managing the dealership's accounting function. Supervise and mentor accounting staff to ensure efficient workflow. Success in this role requires the ability to work well in a team environment and provide internal customer service with various departments.

How you will measure your contribution:

You will know you are successful by taking over and performing the following essential duties:

* Develop and improve accounting procedures and strategies

* Ensure timely month-end and year-end close

* Oversee Accounts Receivable Collections and Credit Authorizations

* Oversee Accounts Payable Processing and Reconciliation

* Reconcile accounts and identify and investigate variances

* Lead a team of 4-6 employees

* Bachelor's degree in accounting
