POSITION SUMMARY

The role of Lead Technical Advisor directly supports the company’s mission to develop and deliver clean power plants that make 100% renewable energy a reality for the world. The Lead Technical Advisor (Lead TA) is a key technical leader responsible for providing advanced expertise and guidance throughout all phases of project execution—from port operations and site deliveries to wind turbine installation and final turnover.

While this role does not include formal direct reports, the Lead TA assumes leadership and coordination responsibilities during projects, ensuring alignment with Nordex standards, quality objectives, and strict Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance. Acting as a lead resource, the Lead TA collaborates closely with Site Managers and TA Managers during project execution and serves as the primary technical point of contact across all installation phases.

Beyond project execution, the Lead TA plays a critical role in developing the technical capabilities of the team. This includes conducting on-the-job training, mentoring Technical Advisors, and setting clear expectations for performance and quality. The Lead TA works closely with the TA Manager to identify skill gaps, implement training plans, and foster a culture of continuous improvement—ensuring that the team evolves to meet the demands of increasingly complex projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, electrical and power electronic background, good communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and subcontractors
