Institution Registered Nurse (Baker City)
The Oregon Department of Corrections seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and coordinate services in correctional facilities.
Responsibilities Conduct patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and laboratory/medical procedures per ODOC policies.- Valid Oregon Registered Professional Nurse license at the time of appointment.
- BSN, MSN, or Lead Worker designation preferred.
- Experience in a correctional or high‑stress environment desired.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Commitment to health equity and social justice.
DOC employees receive medical, dental, vision, and basic life coverage through the Public Employees' Benefit Board (PEBB). Retirement benefits are provided through the Public Employees Retirement System (PERS). Paid vacation, sick leave, and 11 paid holidays are accrued monthly.
