Part-Time Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist in Bainbridge Island/Kingston Area. APPS Paramedical is one of the largest paramedical companies in the United States, offering nationwide coverage as we complete insurance physicals for people applying for life, health, or disability insurance products. The Western Washington office for APPS is looking for quality medical professionals to help us complete these exams in a timely, professional manner on behalf of the insurance company the policy is being applied.

Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist in Bainbridge Island/Kingston Area.
Responsibilities- Independent contractors (ICs) are self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision as they complete quality exams while using their medical knowledge.
- Exams are performed on a mobile basis in the home or office of the client and may involve blood draws, medical histories, signatures on packets, vital signs, saliva samples, and 12 lead EKGs.
- Follow all compliance policies as well as safety policies and procedures while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in gathering client information.
- Exams can last anywhere from 15 minutes to a little over an hour, depending on the requirements.
- Set your own schedule. We offer exams 7 days a week and 52 weeks of the year.
- Most contractors have full-time jobs and use this as an opportunity to earn additional income.
- We assist in scheduling your appointments so you can focus more on what you do best—medical exams.
- Reimbursement:
You are reimbursed every two weeks by direct deposit for each exam completed. - Territory:
Set your own territory by choosing the zip codes you will work within. - Orientation: A 3–4 hour in-person orientation is provided to verify your skills and show you the paperwork and website used by our ICs.
- Equipment:
We may rent equipment such as tablets, EKG machines, and centrifuges. Use of your own equipment will be considered but is not guaranteed. Some items may need to be purchased: manual BP cuff, large & extra large sizes. - Supplies:
Stethoscope, tape measure (soft fabric & metal), printer/paper/ink, scale (up to 400 lb), extra gloves, alcohol swabs, bandages or Coban, gauze.
- Actively practicing phlebotomy with a minimum of 1 year of work experience.
- Trained in manual blood pressure and pulse collection.
- Familiarity with tablets/computers.
- Preferred experience with pediatric and geriatric patients/home health.
- EKG experience is preferred but not required.
- Reliable vehicle with a valid state driver’s license and auto insurance.

Education preferred: High school diploma or equivalency. Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant state certification is required.
