Overview
We are seeking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Team Manager to join our leadership team within the Talking Therapies service. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational management of one of the teams in the service, while providing leadership cover across localities within the service where needed. The service covers the whole district with main bases in Bradford, Shipley and Keighley, and staff may also be based further afield.
Key Responsibilities- Operationally manage a team of therapists, ensuring effective service delivery.
- Provide line management, clinical and professional development responsibilities for team.
- Assist the Service Manager and Clinical Manager in strategic and day‑to‑day service management.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in a friendly and well‑established multi‑disciplinary team.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with relevant organisations, GPs, secondary and tertiary teams and voluntary sector organisations within localities.
- Support the continual development of the service, ensuring delivery of an integrated, user‑centred and flexible locality service.
- Take responsibility for managerial and supervisory duties over the Talking Therapies team.
- Assist in developing service changes, marketing and promotion work alongside day‑to‑day management.
- Experience in operational management and mental health services.
- Knowledge of Talking Therapies services is useful but not essential.
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- Experience in line management and professional development of staff.
