Senior Project Engineer

Role Summary

The project engineer’s role will be to execute these fast tracks fit out projects independently with minimum supervision from the project manager.

• Complete management of the project at site from taking possession of the unit from client to site handover
• Specifying project objectives and plans including delineation of scope, scheduling, setting performance requirements etc
• Maximizing resource efficiency (labour, materials, and equipment)
• Implementing various operations through proper coordination and control of planning, design, estimating, contracting and construction in the entire process
• Maintaining accurate records as construction progress throughout the projects
• Responsible for overview of the construction sites, and management of vendors and trades. In addition, keep good communication between the Clients at all times
• Project Management Planning, Cost Management, Time Management, Quality Management, Contract Administration, Safety Management, which includes specific activities like defining the responsibilities and management structure of the project management team, organizing, and leading by implementing project controls, defining roles and responsibilities, and developing communication protocols, and identifying elements of project design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims

The essential skills required for this purpose are as follows:

• The candidate should have a minimum of eight to ten years similar experience
• Very strong technical and execution abilities
• Previous experience of working with professional fit out contracting companies with their in-house workforce
• Good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully in a multinational environment
• Computer literate (AutoCAD, MS Projects, MS Office)
• Local driving license
