The opportunity As high voltage lab engineer, you are a full member of a dynamic team of scientists and technicians working to shape the future technology to be used in high voltage products. In this position, you can test innovative ideas, implement new measurement and diagnostics methods, while you maintain a functional and safe testing environment. HowYou Will Make An Impact
- Run and maintain state-of-the-art high voltage labs
- Participate actively in planning, preparation and execution of high voltage tests
- Collaborate closely with a team of scientists and technicians from research
- Bring your active contribution to the definition of safe testing practices in the lab during all phases of the experiments with the support of local HSE partners and research team
- Interact with partners in the adjacent Hitachi Energy high voltage labs and business units.
- Education in electrical engineering with at least a bachelor degree (FH)
- Proven experience in lab work, including experimental setup with advanced measurement methods
- Knowledge of lab integrated programming using Lab View, Matlab or Python is very much welcome
- Skills in data analysis are a plus.
- Past experience in high voltage lab is advantageous.
- Conversational level in English is required, good knowledge of German language is very appreciated.
