Position: Senior Business Analyst / IT Project Manager - Endur

Job Description Role purpose

Serve as the central coordination and analytical point between Front Office, operational support teams, and IT functions to ensure seamless execution of business priorities. The role ensures operational readiness for new products and initiatives, drives process standardization, and actively contributes to the digital transformation of the Sales & Trading (S&T) landscape. In addition, the position acts as a key stakeholder in the ETRM landscape (with Endur as the core trading platform), ensuring that trade capture, valuation, risk, P&L, reporting, and downstream processes run reliably, consistently, and in compliance with internal controls and regulatory expectations.

The role serves as the central point of accountability for S&T-wide coordination, reporting, and lifecycle governance, providing leadership across divisions and central functions to align ownership, standards, and priorities, and anchoring the development of a consistent operating and reporting framework across all divisions.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage S&T level EoD delivery. Oversee end-of-day processing, validations, position/risk availability and P&L delivery from Endur and connected systems. Ensure data completeness, timeliness, and integrity across the full trade lifecycle.
  • Coordinate issue resolution on day-to-day issues across key internal applications and teams for STS in collaboration with Trading and wholesales Divisional IT team. Act as escalation point for production incidents affecting trade capture, pricing curves, settlements-relevant data, risk reporting, and valuation topic. Drive root-cause remediation rather than just workaround.
  • Prioritize and manage STS NPA (new product approval) process. Support the operational readiness assessment in Endur for STS related structure in collaboration with Trading and wholesales Divisional IT team: trade capture model, risk representation, deal flow-through, booking controls, valuation models, settlement requirements, reporting impacts. Secure that Front Office can book and risk-manage new structures in a fully controlled and supportable way for STS related transaction.
  • Represent S&T interests on prioritization forums. Act as the voice of S&T users when changes are proposed (product changes, data model changes, interface changes, workflow automation). Translate trading/business needs into structured IT demand with clear business justification and operational impact.
  • Act as business owner or key stakeholder for core STS ETRM processes and data standards (CMDP/Riskdatamodel/ENDUR). Define and enforce golden-source logic (positions, curves, reference data, book hierarchy). Ensure consistency of processes and controls across books, desks and regions. Sponsor and drive automation / straight-through processing initiatives in and around Endur for STS.
  • Support and guide the change agenda. Make sure enhancements in Endur and the wider S&T architecture actually land in operations (i.e. are adopted, documented, and supported).
Qualifications
  • 7–10 years in energy trading, operations, or ETRM support. Direct exposure to front-to-back trade lifecycle in power, gas, emissions, certificates, structured products, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of trading products, deal lifecycle, and related processes: trade capture, validation, lifecycle events; pricing / valuation / curves; risk measures and Greeks; P&L explain and attribution; settlements / invoicing inputs.
  • Hands‑on experience with Endur. Understanding of deal setup, portfolio / book structures, reference data, curves and market data setup, Endur workflows, and EoD batch / reporting chains. Ability to challenge both Front Office and IT.
  • Proven experience bridging business and IT, ideally in a hybrid operations / BA role. Able to translate trading asks into system change requirements. Able to translate system constraints back into commercial / risk language.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills. Able to drive alignment between Front Office urgency and control / governance requirements.
  • Familiarity with process improvement and digital transformation methodologies. Comfort working with automation, workflow tooling, dashboarding, data quality / data lineage topics. Track record in standardizing, documenting, and scaling operational processes.
