Shipping Clerk

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping Clerk to join our warehouse team in Azusa, CA. The ideal candidate will support shipping and receiving operations by coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring safe and efficient warehouse processes. This role requires strong organizational skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to communicate in both Spanish and English.

Job Title: Shipping Clerk

Location: Azusa, CA

Pay Rate: $18 $ 21 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8: 00 AM - 4: 30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check in truck drivers upon arrival
• Sign Bills of Lading (BOLs) and verify shipping documentation
• Receive incoming goods, verify quantities against purchase orders, and update inventory records in warehouse management systems
• Load and unload trucks efficiently while following safety protocols
• Maintain accurate shipment and receiving records
• Follow safety guidelines related to warehouse distribution and shipping/receiving operations
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Keep track of deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate with team members and management regarding shipment status

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
• Understanding of warehouse processes, including checking in drivers and handling shipping documentation
• Experience operating warehouse equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, order pickers) highly desirable
• Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
• Computer proficiency with email, Outlook, Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and basic math skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
• Physical ability to lift heavy loads safely and stand for extended periods
