Azusa USD Mandarin Bilingual In-Person Tutors

Hey Tutor has partnered with a school district in Azusa and we are hiring Mandarin‑bilingual tutors to support elementary students (K‑5) in math and ELA during regular school hours.

• Lead small groups of students using the program curriculum and materials.
• Prepare the tutoring area and keep the space organized.
• Take attendance and run lessons through Hey Tutor Dashboard when applicable.
• Document student progress and facilitate baseline and summative assessments as requested by management.
• Create an engaging environment that fosters belonging and supports positive behavior choices.
• Coordinate pick‑up and drop‑off of students from designated areas in the school site when required.
• Clock in and out of Deputy for shifts and perform any other duties assigned by the Company, manager, or School Site.

• Spanish bilingual is a plus.
• Must hold an AA or higher degree, or be currently enrolled in college/university.
• Strong tutoring experience with children.
• Comfortable working in a classroom setting.
• Clear FBI/DOJ background check through Hey Tutor.

Pay ranges from $18–23 per hour, determined by education and experience during the interview.
