Procurement Administrator

This role focuses on administrative work such as procurement, invoicing, and vendor management. While it sits under IT, it is not a technical role. The person will manage and track all hardware and software assets, including laptops and other equipment, and maintain accurate inventory records.

Strong organizational skills are essential, similar to an administrative role—handling software license renewals, adding licenses as the company grows, and ensuring visibility into where all equipment is located.

The person selected for this role will also manage expense reports as an administrative resource for various departments. As a secondary responsibility, and as time allows, they will assist with EMR account support across multiple hospital systems.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, vendor management or purchasing support.
• Experience in managing invoices, renewals, and vendor negotiations required.
• Exposure to healthcare, EMR system, or IT asset management is a plus, but not required.

Skills:

• Proficient knowledge in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer,
• Microsoft Windows, and Snag It programs.

The position is more of an administrative support
position than it is IT and
someone who is organized, works well in a fast paced environment and is capable of using tools to increase efficiency and keep track of the hundreds of monthly purchases we do, while also knowing IT.

They will also be assisting the EMR person in managing access to hospital systems, so EMR experience is preferred but not required.
