As Junior Sous Chef, you will work closely with our Head Chef and Sous Chefs to ensure the smooth running and culinary excellence of our kitchen. This role is perfect for a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie ready to step up in their career and take on more responsibility in a busy kitchen.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Assist with the daily management of kitchen sections, ensuring smooth service and maintaining high standards.
  • Prepare and cook dishes to specification, ensuring consistent quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Uphold impeccable hygiene standards and strictly follow all food safety regulations.
  • Support and train junior kitchen staff, contributing to their development and fostering a positive team environment.
  • Help with stock rotation, ordering, and minimizing waste to ensure a cost-effective and efficient kitchen.
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a quality restaurant or hotel environment.
  • A genuine passion for food, particularly for Scottish produce and innovative cooking techniques.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and develop.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to high standards of work.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
