Bar Manager

T-Bar is one of Ayr’s go-to late-night destinations, big energy, brilliant drinks and live music that keeps the dance floor moving. Now, we’re looking for a passionate, driven Bar Manager to help lead the team and take our nights to the next level.

As Bar Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of T-Bar. Working alongside senior management, you’ll take ownership of performance, people and atmosphere, ensuring every night hits the standard our guests expect.

What you will be responsible for:

• Leading, inspiring and motivating your bar team to deliver exceptional service
• Create a culture that reflects Buzzworks values, energy, personality and pride
• Book and manage live music acts and DJs
• Deliver seamless event nights from planning through to execution
• Develop locally‑led promotions and themed nights to keep regulars returning
• Proactively drive and secure function bookings to maximise revenue
• Oversee stock control, ordering and cellar management
• Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling
• Maintain high standards of compliance, licensing and health & safety

You thrive in high‑energy environments. You love cocktails, music and creating memorable experiences. You’re commercially aware, people‑focused and not afraid to roll up your sleeves.

You’ll bring:

• Proven supervisory or management experience in a bar, cocktail bar or nightclub
• Strong cocktail and spirits knowledge
• Experience (or strong interest) in live music and event coordination
• A confident, outgoing leadership style
• A proactive mindset with the drive to grow the business
