Our Turning Point Scotland Services in South Ayrshire are looking for people like you to help provide individualised support to adults with a wide range of needs, either on an individual 1:1 basis or alongside others and as part of a team.

Turning Point Scotland is a national social care charity providing services to people with addictions, learning disabilities, mental health issues, those in the criminal justice system and those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
Turning Point Scotland South Ayrshire
Turning Point Scotland South Ayrshire delivers services to people with Learning Disabilities, on the Autistic Spectrum and with Mental Health needs. We have been successfully supporting adults in South Ayrshire since 2004.
Supports are either community based or within the persons own home. People are supported to become active members of their community through accessing local resources, building on skills, maintaining and developing friendships, employment opportunities and working towards agreed outcomes.
Each individual has a committed staff team who work together to deliver a bespoke person-centred package to meet the individual’s needs achieving agreed outcomes. We focus on enabling individuals to meet their aspirations, develop new skills, increase self-esteem and get the most out of life.
The support we provide is always person centred, we do this by involving people who know the person well, this includes family and friends, other health and Social Work professionals, Advocacy services and our own staff members.
No previous working experience is needed; full training will be provided to you. We believe having the right values of respect, compassion, inclusion and integrity is all you need to join our team. We will offer you full support in completing your application.
As a Support Practitioner, you will work with individuals who have a wide range of support needs, providing them with practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives e.g. keeping safe, meaningful activities, community involvement, physical health, relationships, emotional health and wellbeing.

- Collaborate with family, friends, health and social care professionals, advocacy services and colleagues to create a person-centred support plan.
- Contribute to enabling individuals to meet aspirations, develop new skills, and increase self-esteem.
