PositionAn opportunity has arisen for a permanent ASH Consultant Unscheduled Care based at University Hospital Ayr.
What you will do- Work with key stakeholders across acute, primary care and community services including health, social care, third sector and public health.
- Provide an strong interface between North, South and East Ayrshire HSCP services to streamline patient care.
- Deliver on the agreed KPIs aligned to the Hip Fracture Audit, DWD, D2A and the frailty pathway.
- Provide AHP leadership to the MDT within Trauma and Orthopaedics with a strong focus on improving orthogeriatric care and reducing hospital length of stay.
- Lead on education and training across Trauma and Orthopaedics.
You must hold a relevant qualification in one of the Allied Health Professions and have active registration with HCPC. You will be able to evidence Masters level education, experience of leading a clinical team, and advanced clinical skills in acute assessment/care and community rehabilitation.
Hours37 per week over 5 days.
Full UK Driving Licence/Access To a VehicleFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential to this role.
