Front of House Porter

Overview

Shifts between 06:30 and 21:00, Monday - Sunday, working 5 days out of 7, includes weekends. Permanent. Full time 37.5 hours per week. £27,222 Per Annum Plus Excellent Benefits.

We are recruiting for a Porter to join our Front of House team based at The Lister Hospital. This role is vital in providing a high quality Porter and Security service to all departments, staff, patients and visitors.

• Provide a porter/security service to include delivery/collection of mail, linen, drugs and other items as requested.
• Assist patients with luggage and escort them to their rooms.
• Check gauges and storage of gas bottles, changing them as necessary.
• Inform patients of room facilities during room orientation.

• Previous Porter experience is essential, ideally within healthcare.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to lift heavy loads.
