Basic Salary: £48,000 (4 on / 4 off Days, 6am-6pm)
This is a chance to join a long‑established national fleet maintenance provider supporting a major UK retail logistics operation. Job Description- Maintain and repair heavy goods vehicles and trailers across a large retail fleet.
- Complete servicing, inspections and general repairs.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults.
- Prepare vehicles for MOT testing.
- Carry out welding, fabrication and use workshop equipment.
- Support apprentices and maintain accurate job records.
- NVQ Level 3 in HGV Maintenance or equivalent experience.
- Proven background as an HGV Technician.
- Valid Class 1 licence.
- Confident using diagnostic equipment and workshop tools.
- Strong communication skills and a team‑focused approach.
Technicians have access to additional training including IRTEC, LOLER/Weight Testing, BPW, Operator Licence Awareness, Deck Training and FLT qualifications.
