## Description Warehouse Operative    Aylesbury    Goods inwards:
Receiving and inspecting goods upon arrival including checking quantities and storing in correct location. Checking for damage and missing items.
Stock control:
Regular stock takes, coordinating quarantine stock materials and dealing with any stock discrepancies.
Goods outwards:
Picking and packing customer orders accurately to meet deadlines and to the correct specification. Dispatching orders with appropriate paperwork.
Manual handling:
Re-palletise containers up to 25kg each and move stock around by hand when required.
Keeping the warehouse clean and organised to optimise efficiency.
Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet trucks.
Ensuring workplace safety by following Health and Safety regulations.
The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, have a strong attention to detail, good numeracy and literacy skills and a high level of physical fitness.

Experience of working in a warehouse environment with a racking system and being a qualified forklift truck driver is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided. xjnqpsq They must be able to work as part of a team, but also independently.

Hours:

Monday – Thursday 9:00 – 17:30 and Friday 9:00 – 17:00
