Roadside Rescue Mechanic - Aylesbury

The AA is looking for a Roadside Rescue Mechanic to go the extra mile for our members. Anything can happen while driving, but we are the AA and we get everyone back on the road safely so the show can go on. Base Salary: £37,152 plus £3,598 location allowance
* The base salary is achieved on a working week on average of 40 hours.
Top performers can earn upwards of OTE £60,000.

What will I be doing?
  • Communicator: Master of diagnostics, sharing knowledge and ensuring customers feel safe and confident.
  • Self-starter: Work independently or collaboratively, driving to different locations in all weathers.
  • Fixer/problem solver: Use technical expertise to solve a variety of issues, from roadside repairs to vehicle recovery, ensuring customers get on with their day.
What do I need?
  • NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience
  • Full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less
  • Willingness to work shifts, which could include evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays
