Outreach Support Worker

Support Worker Hourly Rate: £18 per hour (Umbrella) Duration: 3 months – January 2026 to March 2026

Hours:

37.5 hours per week | Monday – Friday (6am
-2pm or 9am – 5pm) Buckinghamshire service working to reduce rough sleeping and prevent repeat homelessness in Buckinghamshire through coordinated outreach, rapid rehousing, and resettlement support. Daily duties:
Deliver assertive outreach to people sleeping rough, including responding to referrals, verifying rough sleeping, and engaging individuals at street level Support clients to access emergency, temporary, and longer-term accommodation, and work to prevent returns to rough sleeping Provide intensive casework to support tenancy sustainment, including in-reach and crisis management within accommodation settings Work collaboratively with statutory and voluntary agencies, landlords, and partner organisations to achieve positive outcomes for clients Provide information, advice, and guidance on housing options, welfare benefits, tenancy rights and responsibilities, and access to health and treatment services Deliver support flexibly across different platforms, including face-to-face, telephone, and digital methods Complete all necessary administrative tasks related to casework and service delivery The successful candidate should have:
