Sales Executive

Overview

We’re looking for an experienced and customer-focused Sales Executive to join the team at Advance Roofing Supplies in Aylesbury.

This is a varied role within a small, friendly branch where everyone works together to get the job done. You’ll take the lead on processing sales and managing customer enquiries but also get involved on the trade counter and in the yard when needed — so flexibility and teamwork are key.

You’ll play an important part in maintaining great relationships with trade customers, keeping orders running smoothly, and ensuring our branch continues to deliver excellent service.

• Process customer orders, quotes, and enquiries accurately and efficiently
• Build and maintain strong relationships with trade and retail customers
• Support the trade counter with service and product advice
• Liaise with suppliers to manage stock and delivery queries
• Assist with stock organisation, merchandising, and yard duties when required
• Work collaboratively with the wider branch team to support daily operations

Salary : £35,000-£38,000 per annum

Hours : 7am-5pm Mon-Fri, 7am-12pm alternate Saturdays

Holiday : 22 days per year plus Bank Holidays

• Experience in roofing or builders’ merchant sales (essential)
• Strong knowledge of roofing materials and related products
• Excellent customer-service and communication skills
• Organised and detail-oriented with a proactive, can‑do attitude
• Forklift licence preferred (training can be provided)
• Willing to help across all areas of the branch when needed
• Right to work in the UK
