Job Title - Manufacturing Team Leader
Night Shift - Monday – Thursday
Hours 10pm – 8:30am
Salary £30,000 - £35,000 Bonus and Shift Allowance
Location - Aylesbury
The Role
We are seeking a driven and highly organised Blending Team Leader to oversee night-shift operations at our client’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. In this role, you will lead the Blending Department of a well-respected international skincare company, ensuring all product ingredients are compounded and mixed to the highest quality standards. This is a key leadership position where you will manage a team of five, maintain strict GMP compliance, and ensure efficient, consistent execution of all blending activities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop the night shift blending team, promoting high performance and compliance.
Oversee all production activities overnight, providing support to other departments where required.
Conduct and document risk assessments; implement preventative measures and ensure smooth, accurate handovers.
Apply structured, logical processes to resolve operational issues, including contamination incidents and bulk salvage.
Champion Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, promoting solution-focused thinking across the team.
Ensure accurate completion of all documentation and consistent adherence to GMP and safety standards.
Manage team performance through regular 1:1s, absence management, and development planning.
Skills & Experience
Proven leadership experience managing teams of around five within a manufacturing environment.
Background in pharmacy roles (Dispenser, Pharmacy Technician, Counter Assistant, Checking Technician, etc.) desirable.
Strong understanding of GMP, or experience within highly regulated sectors such as food, aerospace, or pharmaceuticals.
Excellent problem-solving ability with a proactive, hands-on approach.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to motivate diverse personalities and hold team members to high performance standards.
