Goods In & Yard Manager

Our clients here in Aylesbury are recruiting for Goods In and Yard Manager, this is being recruited on a temp – perm basis with a contract issued after 12 weeks for the successful candidate.

They are seeking a team player who wants a long term, permanent role in this established local business.

As a Goods In and Yard Manager, duties to include:

* Loading and Offloading duties

* Stock Movement and put away

* Maintaining the Yard

* Organisation of Warehouse

* Assisting colleagues with manual handling and heavy lifting.

* Counter balance forklift driving – License required

* Carry out ad hoc tasks when needed.

* Some disassembling and stripping will be needed at times, so knowledge and experience of metals

About you:

* Good time keeping and dependability is essential.

* Good experience of Counter Balance Forklift driving and a licence are required; handling awkward loads safely

* Ability to work under pressure to handle constantly changing circumstances calmly.

* You will be required to self-manage and complete recurring tasks within expected timescales.

* Able to prioritise your own workload

* Good eye for detail

* Mechanically minded

What's on offer:

Working hours will be 07:00 – 17:00, 40 hours per week with Overtime available.

Pay rate: £13.00 per hour, with OT in addition
