Location: Bierton
Mechanical Design Engineer / Estimator
Full-Time | Permanent
£30,000-£40,000 DOE
An established UK manufacturer is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer / Estimator to support the design and costing of ventilation and air movement equipment from enquiry through to manufacture.
Key Responsibilities- Produce mechanical designs and 2D/3D CAD drawings
- Prepare technical documentation and ensure compliance with UK standards
- Generate accurate cost estimates and quotations
- Analyse drawings and specifications to select materials and processes
- Support sales, production, and project teams
- Experience in mechanical design and/or estimating
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Solid Works, or similar
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Desirable: HVAC/ventilation experience, estimating within manufacturing, ERP knowledge.
