We are an award‑winning engineering client listed in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100. This role offers a salary of approximately £40k+ (dependent on experience), an annual company bonus, generous holidays and an excellent contributory pension scheme.

• Diagnostic, inspection, part identification, testing, service and repair, rectification of faults of electrical machinery at the depot.
• Installation of safety controls systems and control panels on plant equipment.
• Safety compliance and preparation of vehicles, plant machinery for sale and hire for exhibition, markets, customers and fleet.

• Good electrical engineering experience, hydraulic diagrams, engineering drawings and electrical diagrams, ideally automotive or vehicle plant.
• Engineering qualification:
  Level 2/3 engineering or above, ideally electrical, electromechanical or mechanical or any similar engineering.
• Service, repair, installation, diagnostic, calibration experience of large vehicles, heavy plant machinery, basic petrol, diesel engines or generators, large and small machines or similar machinery plant equipment.
• 12V / 24V DC automotive or plant type experience; plus communication system experience (CAN bus) or similar.
• Prior experience as ex‑forces engineers, ex‑military, REME technician engineers, RE plant operator engineers with service and maintenance experience of plant, trucks, tanks, heavy plant equipment, fleet of vehicles – a distinctive asset.
