Key Responsibilities- Deliver high‑quality first aid and mental health first aid training to a wide range of learners, both online and on‑site.
- Permanently maintain punctuality, strong organisational and time‑management skills, and a consistent training schedule.
- Provide a positive, supportive learning environment that empowers people to respond effectively in emergencies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable speaking before an audience.
- Enthusiastic, approachable and motivated to share knowledge and skills.
- Creativity, adaptability and a willingness to continually improve training delivery.
- Strong organisational and time‑management abilities, reliable and punctual at all times.
Hybrid work is not available for trainers. The role is largely in‑person, with occasional online delivery depending on bookings. Trainers are generally expected to be on‑site for the majority of their work.
Career Development & ProgressionTrainers have the opportunity to achieve a recognised Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET). For the right candidate, progression opportunities and continuous professional development (CPD) are also offered.
Exceptional Onboarding ExperienceFrom day one, you will undergo a comprehensive onboarding, training and induction process, including full First Aid training and Mental Health First Aid training, ensuring that you have the confidence and skills to lead your classes effectively from the start.
Opportunity to Teach a Variety of CoursesIn addition to standard first aid courses, you may be invited to deliver training in other key areas such as mental health first aid, community response programmes and other essentialaving skills.
