We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join our vibrant primary school in Aylesbury. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is enthusiastic about early years education and is committed to providing a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic and personal growth of children, ensuring that they meet key milestones as they progress through the National Curriculum. You will work alongside a supportive team to create a positive and enriching school experience, helping students develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Creative Lesson Planning:
Plan and deliver engaging, interactive lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 2 learners, in line with the National Curriculum. - Inclusive Teaching:
Employ a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage all students, ensuring that every child can succeed and thrive. - Encouraging Participation:
Create a positive classroom dynamic where students feel motivated to actively participate and engage with their learning. - Assessment and Feedback:
Regularly assess students' progress, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for improvement to help them achieve their best. - Differentiation:
Tailor lessons to ensure all students receive the right level of support or challenge, allowing them to reach their full potential. - Classroom Management:
Establish and maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported. - Collaboration:
Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure each child's holistic development is supported. - Parent Communication:
Maintain regular communication with parents about their child's progress, upcoming events, and any areas of concern. - Professional Development:
Stay updated on the latest teaching practices and continue to develop your professional skills through training and workshops.
- Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. - Experience:
Proven experience teaching Year 2 or within a primary school setting.
