Behaviour Mentor – Aylesbury

Academics is recruiting a committed Behaviour Mentor for a permanent post supporting students with social, emotional and behavioural needs in Aylesbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about making a long‑term impact on young people’s lives.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students to build trust, support emotional regulation, and promote positive behaviour. You will use de‑escalation techniques, provide consistent boundaries, and help maintain a calm, structured learning environment. Collaboration with staff, parents, and outside agencies is essential to ensure each young person receives tailored support.

We are looking for a resilient, patient, and empathetic Behaviour Mentor who can form strong relationships and confidently manage challenging behaviour. Experience with in SEN, SEMH or youth support is beneficial, though full training is provided.

£30,361.00 – £32,594.00 (per annum)
