Permanent Site Agent – HS2

We’re working with a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering key packages on HS2, and they’re looking to bring in an experienced Site Agent on a permanent basis.

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows how to run site operations properly on large, complex civil engineering schemes and is comfortable working in a high-profile, safety-critical environment.

The Role

As Site Agent, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to spec. You’ll be the link between site teams, engineers, subcontractors and senior management.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing site operations on HS2 work packages

* Ensuring H&S, quality and environmental standards are met at all times

* Planning and coordinating labour, plant and materials

* Supervising engineers, supervisors and subcontractors

* Driving programme and resolving site issues proactively

* Client and stakeholder liaison

* Assisting with RAMS, permits and reporting

About You

* Proven experience as a Site Agent on major civils / infrastructure projects

* Background in highways, rail, earthworks, structures or heavy civils

* Strong understanding of H&S and quality systems

* SMSTS, CSCS (Manager), First Aid

* Able to work in and around the Aylesbury area

* HS2 experience beneficial but not essential
