Production Planner needs 5 years experience
Production Planner requires:- Production planning
- Planner
- Manufacturing
- MRP
- Executes manufacturing production plans using MRP, coordinating materials, schedules, and engineering changes across teams to ensure on‑time delivery of capital equipment products.
- Create Bills of Material (BOMs) from MRP when required
- Plan inventory levels to prevent shortages and excess inventory
- Implement Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), including issuing changes to the shop floor and coordinating updates for jobs in progress and materials on order or in stock
- Close production orders and ensure costs are accurately captured
- Review open orders, backorders, and forecast data to identify and resolve potential issues
