The Global Supply Chain Analyst supports sourcing strategy and supplier management for high‑value, technically complex categories critical to Vulcan Forms’ production. This role requires strong analytical capability, commercial awareness, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and leadership stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain cost models and bid comparisons for capital equipment sourcing.
- Strong ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion.
- Support RFIs/RFQs/RFPs through data aggregation and evaluation.
- Maintain sourcing trackers and project dashboards.
- Assist in supplier pre‑qualification and onboarding analysis.
- Assist in savings/cost‑avoidance analysis.
- Track forecast vs actual delivery performance.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or technical degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in sourcing or supply chain.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (modeling, pivot tables, data structuring) and visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Experience working with ERP or sourcing systems and extracting/normalizing data for analysis.
- Experience in supplier development, qualifications, and risk evaluation processes.
- Understanding of cost drivers for machined, cast, or fabricated components.
- Understanding of cost structures for machined, cast, or fabricated components.
- Track record of delivering measurable cost savings and lead‑time reduction.
- Prior exposure to startup or high‑growth manufacturing environments.
Vulcan Forms offers a competitive salary and equity package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Vulcan Forms provides comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; generous paid time off; and a 401(k) plan with company match.
The annual base salary range for this position is $67,000 to $93,000.
