Transport Coordinator

Location:

Avonmouth, Bristol
Salary: £14.74 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Coordinator to join a well-established logistics operation based in Avonmouth. This is a full-time temporary to permanent position within a fast-paced transport environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Preparing driver paperwork and coordinating daily transport activity
Acting as the main point of contact for drivers while on the road
Communicating effectively with internal teams and operational sites
Monitoring transport performance and compliance
Handling calls and emails in a professional manner
Managing vehicle breakdowns and responding to operational issues
Supporting safe and efficient delivery operations

Requirements:

Previous experience in a transport or logistics environment
Basic working knowledge of transport legislation, including:

Working Time Directive
EU Driver’s Hours
Tachograph regulations
Understanding of Health & Safety and Food Safety standards
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
