Warehouse Forklift Operator Evening Shift

Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Loader Forklift Operator in Avondale, AZ!

• Hourly Pay: $21.00 per hour (includes shift differential)
• Overtime Pay: $31.50 per hour
• Schedule:
  
  Sunday-Thursday 10:00 pm – 7:00 am

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Team player in a diverse work environment
• Professional relationship skills across all levels (peers, supervisors, customers)
• Highly thorough and dependable
• Good attendance and punctuality
• Minimal supervision required
• High initiative and accuracy under pressure
• Able to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Adheres to health and safety methods
• Flexible availability for various shifts
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices

• Perform warehouse functions (loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting)
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, loading/unloading trucks
• Handle day‑to‑day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
• Perform other duties as assigned
