Job Description

The HR & Recruiting Liaison – Warehouse Operations acts as the critical link between Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Operations. This role ensures that staffing needs are met efficiently while maintaining compliance with HR policies, safety standards, and operational requirements. You will manage headcount tracking, requisition submissions, candidate interviews, and onboarding for non-exempt hourly roles. Partnering closely with the Site HR Manager, you will play a key role in building a strong workforce, driving process improvements, and supporting a safe, productive warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Staffing: Track headcount changes, submit requisitions, conduct interviews, and manage the selection process for hourly positions to meet operational demands.
  • Collaboration: Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Operations to align staffing strategies, foster positive employee relations, and address workforce challenges.
  • Onboarding: Design and deliver effective onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
  • Compliance & Safety: Enforce HR, safety, and company policies; maintain accurate time, attendance, and performance records.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in developing and documenting warehouse processes, establish performance standards, and identify opportunities for efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 2+ years in warehouse/distribution operations or a manufacturing facility
    • Experience in HR, recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
    • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
    • Intermediate computer proficiency
    • Problem-solving mindset with ability to present practical solutions
    • Adaptability to changing priorities and ability to multitask
  • Attributes: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven by a sense of urgency.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required;
    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field preferred.

  • Compensation Details $58,775 - $76,407 Annually

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements. For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents.

For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
