Responsibilities- Completes patients' medical history, evaluate pulses and assess blood flow in arteries and veins by listening to the vascular flow sounds for abnormalities, and assure the appropriate vascular test has been ordered

- Conducts basic equipment maintenance, quality control measures, and report abnormal findings (if immediate attention is indicated)
- Completes necessary documentation, charge capture, logs and records
- Attends regularly scheduled QA meetings for the vascular department
- Confirms appointments with patients and follows patient scheduling protocols
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to interact w/people from different backgrounds and cultures
- Requires the ability to manage multiple changing priorities in an effective and organized fashion
- Must have knowledge of and follow HIPPA guidelines and secure Protected Health Information at all times
- 2-5 yrs of work experience in Vascular Required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be a Registered Vascular Tech (RVT) through Cardiovascular credentialing International (CCI), American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
- Current BLS, ACLS and CPR Cert required
